形态描述
体长，稍侧扁。头锥形。口下位，弧形。下颌无锐利角质。唇发达，下唇侧叶宽厚，具中叶。须2对，长度约等于眼径。体被细鳞，胸腹部裸露，侧线上鳞30左右，臀鳞发达。背鳍刺较强，后侧缘具较深的锯齿，起点在腹鳍的稍前方。
生物学
Mouth arched, lower jaw without horny edge, lips fleshy, lower lip with a median labial lobe. This species is found in the Lancangjiang River and the Wujiang River of the Chang-jiang River system.
